About Perfect For October
Sunshine dominates again today and high temperatures will be another tick warmer. If you like today, then you will similarly love Wednesday with more sunshine and yet another step warmer. Thursday will be similar, but a passing shower is possible Thursday night, perhaps lingering into Friday morning. An early preview of next weekend features partly cloudy skies and continued pleasant temperatures.

October is traditionally the driest month on the calendar, and after that really wet first week of the month, it’s starting to look closer to normal in the precipitation department now.
Temperatures, however, will be running above normal this week, as our initially cool air mass continues to moderate with high pressure overhead.
Meanwhile, a cold front will be making a run at our area Thursday night, passing through here Friday morning. There’s no Gulf of Mexico input for the front, so moisture will be limited to a passing shower or two Thursday night into Friday morning. It won’t amount to much.
Behind the front, it will be a little bit cooler, but nothing dramatic. Skies should be partly cloudy for the weekend period coming up.
