The cold front that passed through over the weekend will re-activate and begin to return northward as a warm front, passing through western North Carolina during Tuesday. Skies will be mostly gray with a few periods of light rain tonight and Tuesday associated with this feature.
On Wednesday and Thursday, we will be situated in the warm sector, and temperatures will jump to around 15-degrees warmer than normal. Rainfall will be more spotty in nature.
Another cold front is set to push through on Friday with some additional rainfall. This will set the stage for a drier, sunnier, but cooler weekend ahead. I’m sure everyone will be more than happy to see the sun this weekend, especially after this week's cloudiness.
