Watauga Humane Society's Shoe Drive Fundraiser

The Watauga Humane Society is kicking off their Shoe Drive! From May 15 until July 15, drop off used, new, or gently worn, clean shoes (no torn shoes, please), paired with string or rubber bands, at the Watauga Humane Society or Bare Bones Boutique. The shoes will help raise funds for the care, feeding, love and medical needs of our shelter animals. All donated shoes will then be redistributed throughout the Funds2Orgs network of microenterprise partners in developing nations. Funds2Orgs helps impoverished people start, maintain and grow businesses in countries such as Haiti, Honduras and other nations in Central America and Africa. Proceeds from the shoe sales are used to feed, clothe and house their families.. By donating shoes to the Watauga Humane Society, the shoes will be given a second chance and make a difference in peopleâs lives. Also, join our ONE BAG CHALLENGE. Fill a bag with 25 pairs of shoes, from friends, neighbors and co-workers & drop them off by June 15th!
