Forecast Discussion

A low along the northern Gulf coast states will continue to move north bringing western NC rain through the day. Temperatures will hold steady or rise slightly overnight.

Rain will continue through tomorrow morning as a new low develops along the mid-Atlantic coast and moves north. The rain and clouds will begin to dissipate Saturday afternoon as a cold front moves through early Sunday morning. We get a bit of a respite Sunday as another low develops over the Southeast and moves northeast through the Ohio valley Monday. That system will bring us more rain Monday evening through Tuesday morning and mild temperatures until a cold front moves through Tuesday morning. The air behind this front is quite cold so expect a sharp cool down Tuesday evening and below average temperatures for mid to late week.
